Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer galley of type and scrambled.
Took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently.
GABY & MALCOLM
We’re proud of the fact that most of the items we create are 90% ‘green’.
At the end of 2018 they have opened their first “real” shop. They now have a successful high street boutique style outlet filled with high end and quality pieces without the big price tag. If you are looking for something different, unique, stylish to fit with your eclectic taste, then look no further. They endeavours to repurpose, recycle and reuse as much as they can and are proud of the fact that most of the items they create are 90% ‘green’. They work with a variety of materials as vintage fabrics, used leather belts, old furniture, musical instruments and natural materials as sea glass and driftwood and the list goes on. Nothing goes to waste with them!
GABY REDMAN
From a very early age, Gaby started making décor items for her home using various materials found in the surroundings of her home town, where driftwood and sea glass where found in abundance. These materials are her first love and she gets back to them whenever she has the opportunity.
Gaby was brought up in a strong culture of “Make and Mend” which stayed with her throughout her adult life. She will recycle anything possible, giving a new lease of life to everything.
With a multitude of skills, she will undertake furniture painting and decoupage, leather work- including furniture upcycling, soft furnishings as cushions and other complementary items, lampshade making – both modern and traditional and upholstery.
She has an eclectic style and within her creations you’ll find a selection of vintage, traditional, mid-century, modern and oriental pieces. Gaby works very closely with the customer and takes her time to deliver that bespoke and individually tailored order.
Gaby is a recognised member of the House of Upcycling – the UK and Ireland’s leading authority on professional upcycling for interiors.
In 2018, after many years of on-line trading, Gaby and Malcolm opened a “real shop”, in the heart of Dover, Kent.
MALCOLM
Malcolm’s background was initially in landscaping and garden design, so he is no stranger to composition and drawing. Quite a practical man, too, keen to fix anything, found Gaby’s work very inspiring and decided to join her. He is producing the most amazing lamps, using any old musical instruments and odd items. He is a perfectionist and his finished products are second to none. With a long tracked record of commission work, Malcolm will undertake the most challenging items and transforms them beyond recognition.
He recently decided to leave his full time job in order to work along side Gaby, where he finds satisfaction and happiness.

An amazing little place – if you are after something unique to brighten up your home then this is the place
